Spaces in Motion – artistic, educational, and performance programme. Its firs edition was held in Vilnius on April 16-18th, 2026.
The project blends architecture and experimental art, conversations, educational activities such as critical space laboratory & interractive excursions, and evening performances. The program aims to revitalize certain neglected spaces and explore how site-specific interventions can transform forgotten environments. The first three-day event featuring art interventions took place in several abandoned buildings and the spaces between them in the Vilkpėdė industrial zone—a historic manufacturing district of Vilnius that is currently undergoing transformation. Spaces in Motion is dedicated to the revitalization and reinterpretation of various areas, and aims to become a yearly initiative.
